Your first visit to our office will be similar to a patient’s typical
visit to any doctor’s office. We will first obtain a detailed
medical history during our personal consultation and examination. If indicated, we
will take X-rays and, if we feel further tests or evaluations are
necessary, will refer you to the appropriate specialist. The examination
consists of chiropractic, orthopedic, and neurological tests. The
results of these tests will help in assessing the nature and severity
of your condition.
Dr.
Carle will discuss your condition and determine a care plan which
will best suit your situation. This care plan may include spinal
adjustments and/or therapies such as muscle stimulation or therapeutic
massage.
In
some cases your first treatment may be administered immediately
following this discussion.
In
many cases, subsequent visits are necessary in order to achieve
spinal corrections. Because ever patient is evaluated
on an individual basis, care plans are tailored to the specific
needs of each and every individual.
During
the process we will contact your insurance carrier to determine
the extent of your coverage. Our insurance specialist will
be happy to explain your benefits, and file your claims for your
treatment.
Once
you have successfully completed the initial treatments and achieved
your health goals, we recommend a periodic chiropractic check-up...just
as you should receive regular medical and dental check-ups. We
encourage you to maintain good health. It’s your greatest asset
in life.
